Existing Business
The Greater Council Bluffs Region Economic Development Partnership recognizes that existing industry is an essential part of our community and economic development strategy. In an effort to identify growth opportunities and development concerns, the Partnership has created the Existing Industry Program, focusing on business retention and expansion is important in order to retain and add jobs in our region, increase revenues for our businesses, and to enhance the quality of life throughout our communities.
As a part of the Existing Industry Program, representatives from the Partnership meet with area business to discuss the economy, business cycles, accomplishments, challenges, and more. Based on the information gathered, the economic development team can maximize the opportunities available for our region and assist in resolving issues.
